About
What is there to say?
I got into Warhammer 40k during January of '06 when there used to be a Games Workshop store about an hour from where I live. That store is long since gone, but the hobby's stuck with me since then, and I have become a devoted modeller and converter (and even, occasionally, a painter). My first and true love are the Orks - the sheer endless amount of converting possibility stretches my imagination, and I love being able to have customized and personal models that people take notice of. I also play a Daemonhunter army on the side - I love the fluff for Grey Knights and I think they are some of the finest models Games Workshop has produced.
In the course of working on many of my projects, I wander the internet, posting my works upon various forums like The-Waaagh.com or Penny-Arcade. The comments and feedback I get from showing my work helps keep me motivated to finish projects, and the ideas and suggestions are always wonderful.
This blog is my attempt at consolidation. I never really saw the need for something like this until I was asked to show pictures of other things that I had built... at which point, I was hard-pressed to find my old pictures! I decided that I would make one central repository for my works in progress where I could archive away all of my work, and so the Warforge was born.
I try to make myself easily available to anyone who wishes to contact me, and I encourage you to do so! I'm always happy to talk shop about models or gaming.
