So I got some pretty awesome mail.

A good friend of mine had mentioned these two issues of White Dwarf to me as being of particular interest. They contained pictures and information about Adrian Wood's dreadnoughts that he suggested might be inspirational. He was also nice enough to actually grab the issues off ebay and send them my way!

 

They're certainly interesting! I wonder if it's still possible to bitz order those claws... though I have a feeling it'd probably be pretty simple to scratchbuild. If I do ever go for some dreadnoughts, though, these are great inspiration. I'll try and scan the pages with instructions for assembling these dreadnoughts for anyone interested. There's also a completely awesome battle report involving orks, and though the orks end up losing in the end it's a great read. Adrian Wood is a madman.

These old WDs are tremendously fun to read through. It lacks the photography and layout of the present White Dwarf, but it makes up for it in... well, personality.
