Lego can do no wrong
I want to say this because I think it sorely needs saying: God bless legos. There is nothing better when you need easy internal supports on a miniature and you don't care what it looks like. Allow me to demonstrate:
Looks simple enough, but underneath, holding it together...
The coke can just happened to be the perfect fit to hold up the main section until the other tracks are done - I'm waiting on the last of the wheels I need to finish setting.
Once the other tracks are done, I'll set it up the same way. As-is, the lego are fairly discrete, even from a side view:
The wheels might look a little open and exposed, but I have plans for that. I did this sketch earlier today to flesh the idea out a bit:
I'll hang armor plating and chain mesh off the side - I have a number of spare Rhino parts around that are perfect for it.
What do you guys think? Looking good?
